About Us
Matthew & Annette Hutcheson had their lives torn apart in April 2012 when the FBI arrested Matt at gunpoint in their home and in front of their children. Matt was later convicted and sentenced to 17 years in prison for a crime he didn't commit. Matt endured 3 years in solitary confinement or its equivalent. One consecutive stretch lasted 6 months. He endured over a dozen prison transfers, riots, lock-downs and ultimately COVID-19 in a prison that had one of the worst outbreaks in the nation.
Meanwhile, Annette was home, raising their 4 children, submitting motion after motion to the court fighting to get Matt home. At the age of 48 she went to law school and got her Paralegal degree and got Matt out of prison 7 years early.
Although the experience was harrowing and exceedingly difficult, they stayed close God, each other and helped as many people as they could along the way. They have now been married 33 years. This website is a culmination of the things that they learned, and they want to share their new-found knowledge with as many people as they can.

Words by a great thinker
"Matthew D. Hutcheson ("Hutch" as he is called) has become that voice of reason and inspiration for many. We argue that he is a true enlightened living philosopher of our time. In our opinion, he is one of the world's greatest thinkers, modern or ancient, period."
